Lojze Slak died on 29-9-11 at age of 79 from illness. he is considered the father of the Slovenian button accordion, for making the frajtonerca (button accordion) very popular from the 1960s onwards in Slovenia and among Slovenians worldwide. they say Lojze Slak and Slavko Avsenik are the two people most responsible as innovators for making slovenian folk music very popular.

Audio is mostly 256kbps high mp3 sound quality.

I try to restore the audio from records and cassettes to the best of my ability. If anyone wishes to add their own recordings from records or cassettes, please contact to be part of this website.

The reason I put watermarks on the album covers, is because other people were posting these rips to their own websites and torrent sites, without crediting my alpencollection website. Some people said they made these rips themselves.
I do not take any credit for band's work, however I put many hours into converting/cleaning analogue audio from often bad quality vinyl and cassettes, into digital, as well as scanning and joining the album artwork, which usually takes 4 times to scan 1 LP cover (4 quarters), out of the goodness to preserve these forgotten albums. Thank you.
