after writing for and performing with Zadovoljni Kranjci Boris Frank created his own band in 1961 which toured Europe with live concerts (200 performances per year) until 1966. he continued recording until 1990.
Danica Filiplič was Avgust Stanko's vocalist (with Franc Koren), then Slavko Avsenik's first female vocalist. later she sang in Boris Frank's ensemble, and then with Slovenski inštrumentalni kvintet/oberkrainer sextett Janez Kalsek, who she remained with until the early 1980's.
